Gulliver's House is our idea of what a youth hostel should be.
We try to give our guests the same feeling and service we would wish to find in each new place we visit when travelling the world.

If you are wondering how we picked our name, well...who! after reading Gulliver's Travels didn't close their eyes and wish for that same incredible journey?

Everyone's journey has a little part of Gulliver's Travels in it: some good, some bad, some funny, some crazy and even some sad moments. That's what makes your journey so special, so personal, so... yours! And no matter how hard you try to describe it to your friends, the experience of your journey goes beyond words.

Every traveller has different goals and different objectives, but a warm atmosphere is always welcome. At Gulliver's House there are no communications barriers, as we are fluent in English, Spanish and German. Our hostel is a mix of old and young, brilliant and beautiful, eccentric and shy, but we hope the friendly and relaxed atmosphere you will find with us will leave good memories about Rome and about life that will last for a long time.

It's no secret that after travelling for a long time or spending several hours on a train while carring all your life on your back a smiling welcome and a cosy atmosphere make your day. We have always thought of a youth hostel as a shelter, the kind of place that gives you that Home feeling the moment you walk in the door and just sitting on the couch or walking barefoot on a carpet makes it all, the more welcoming.

Gulliver's House is our home, and since it will also be yours
for a while all of our efforts will go into making sure your time in Rome will be the best of your whole journey. The way we'll introduce Rome to you will be like meeting a new friend, the one that makes you feel comfortable and at ease righ away.
